Tui Na (Chinese Massage)

Tui Na (Chinese Massage)

Tui Na means to press or grip. It is a massage which has been developed to compliment Chinese Medicine. It differs from Shiatsu in that treatment is carried out with the patient fully clothed lying on a couch rather than on the floor. Marcus usually uses Tui Na in conjunction with Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Cupping. Tui Na is used to treat a wide range of illnesses by stimulating the meridians by using a combination of manipulations that relax muscles, ease pain and promotes blood and Qi circulation.
