Matt graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2008 with BSc honours degree in Podiatry and started working as locum Podiatrist in a range of private and NHS settings gaining a wide range of knowledge and clinical skills in the process. He then spent 18 months as the principle podiatrist in a busy multi-disciplinary private practice close to his home town of Rochdale in the North-West of England. Here he gained experience in core and musculoskeletal podiatry.
Matt then moved south, joined the NHS full time in 2011 and started his Masters degree the following year. This at the time was in conjunction with being a member of the British Olympic Sailing team in the lead up to London 2012. Matt is currently a clinical lead for a county wide NHS trust and works closely with GP's, physiotherapists and consultant surgeons.
Alongside functional rehabilitation and the use of orthoses, Matt offers a range of injection therapies to reactivate patients to aid in their recovery.
