David is one of a few practitioners in Britain who are qualified in both Herbal and Naturopathic medicine. He began his studies in 1969 and qualified as a medical herbalist in 1975. He qualified as a Naturopath in 1981.

David is now a full member of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists and The British Naturopathic Association. He is registered with The General Council and Register of Naturopaths.

David is the author of eight books on Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy; was co-founder editor of the British Journal of Phytotherapy and is currently editor of the British Naturopathic Journal.

David is an experienced naturopath and offers a comprehensive approach to health problems, including:

• Herbal remedies (produced and dispensed individually i.e. tinctures, tablets, capsules, ointments, lotions, medicated shampoos, gargles/mouthwashes, liniments etc).
• Nutritional (Food State rather than synthetic chemical equivalents)
• Nutraceuticals (specific supplements for various conditions)
• Health screening, including blood pressure checks, hair analysis, pinprick blood tests, and salivary tests.
